The team of volunteers of the "Source of the Renaissance of Ukraine" together with the volunteers of the "Food of the Future" Foundation started helping Kherson Oblast by visiting 2 villages: Pravdyne and Kuibysheve. The village of Pravdyne was under occupation since the first days of the invasion, at the time of our arrival, people had been living without electricity, GSM, and gas for more than 9 months. We saw many mutilated and destroyed houses. The local school was partially destroyed, 50% of the windows were broken. The only person who can close the windows with wooden planch is the local security guard who lives at the school. There, we left three portable heat stoves, which will help keep the heat to carry out repair work for increasing the number of personnel for restoration. In total, we managed to distribute about 150 food kits and "Charity boxes" for families with children in the village. We also provided about 200 kg of warm winter clothes to local residents, switched on a generator to a local store that serves as a humanitarian hub. In total, about 100 families lived in the village during the occupation, and after the de-occupation, people began to return to the village. The village is located near Kherson, and the road is very bad, the small bridge across the river is destroyed, the road is difficult, so few of volunteers can get there. Fortunately, our bus and car were able to overcome these obstacles for the sake of people in need. The village of Kuibysheve is located on the outskirts of Kherson and is under the threat of shelling every day, because the left bank of the Dnieper that is still occupied is in several hundred meters away. Many people have lost their jobs and the opportunity to provide their families with food, there is no electricity, it is very difficult to order firewood for heating and they have increased in price. Our team delivered a humanitarian cargo in the form of 200 food packages, nearly 300 kg of children's and adult's warm clothes, children's toys and 15 portable heat stoves, which were distributed by people in the village among themselves.
In December, volunteers of the Charitable Foundation "Source of the Revival of Ukraine" carried out a humanitarian mission to Kherson together with the Charitable Foundation "Food of the Future". Within 5 days, we managed to distribute the entire humanitarian cargo to 6 locations in Kherson city and the region. Totally of 15 tons of humanitarian aid such as warm winter clothes, children's toys, diapers, and food was delivered . In the following articles, we will tell you more about our mission!
Every month we help hospitals and clinics all over the country. First we sorting all received medicines, dressing materials. Further, according to requests, we deliver help to those who need them. So far, we have provided the necessary medical items military and civilian hospitals in Kyiv, Lviv, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Dnipro. They also handed over a washing machine and medical equipment to the city children's hospital "Okhmatdyt" in Lviv, where children affected by military operations are treated.
